Hey friends! Since you all know that Christmas is just around the corner I thought I would share one of my Christmas cards with you. 

I used the City Sidewalks paper packet for one of my designs this year. The best thing about it is you can flip the paper over and because all Close to my Heart pattern paper is double sided you can make a completely different card by simply reversing the piece! Gotta run, I have several more cards to make and want to get them done but I just had to share!

Novembers card class is this Saturday (Nov 5) at 1:00. Friday I'm having an open crop on from 6 pm till 10 pm, Bring your snacks n drinks and we can hang out and work on projects old or new,  or just come hang out and visit. I will have cards from a few previous workshops available to purchase. Below are a couple of cards for Saturdays workshop. I have 2 spots left! Call or text me if you would like to attend.

October is one of my favorite times of the year. We have had a busy month, both of our daughters and two of our grandsons birthdays are in October! Last weekend we headed to Pendleton for a get-together family birthday bash for Boones 1st birthday, he is the cutest little bugger! Im planning on going down again soon for Lanes birthday, Boones older brother. October always flies by like nothing and soon its November and we are thinking of Thanksgiving and Christmas. I am gearing up for a
Close to my Heart card workshop  Saturday, November 5th and will be having an open crop night on Friday the 4th! More details to come so stay tuned and stay happy!

Finished Banner

Hi guys, I finished my fall banner last night and I think it's adorable! It was very simple to cut out by hand and stamp. I added a couple of rough cut bows and some buttons and you have a new decoration that's pretty inexpensive.  I have it hanging at work right now but I am thinking it would be cute in my entry way and may bring it home.

 I am getting ready to place a Close to my Heart order and if you need anything please call me.

Fall Banner

Hey friends, like it or not fall has arrived and as we all know winter will be just around the corner. Some of you are sad and will miss summer but I suppose there are a few rare ones like myself who lay in wait for the winter snow to fall. Don't get me wrong, I love the seasons but winter is by far my favorite. However, when spring arrives I will welcome it with a smile because I love the spring too.

So my fall loving friends, I am constructing a "Welcome Fall" Banner to celebrate the season. 

I'm using supplies that I've found in my craft room and once again, I'm makin' a mess! Here we go!

I am using craft cardstock from Close to my Heart and a set of  their retired stamps, twine from the Dollar tree, glue sticks and a bit of burlap that I purchased at Micheals a few months ago. I want it to go quick so I am cutting strips 4" X 12" with the craft cardstock and cutting the ends to look like banners. I will stamp them and fold them in half and glue the ends together over a piece of twine. I will then embellish with some burlap and maybe some stamps and leaves, ya never know what I'll come up with. 

I will post the finished product when....I'm finished!

Helloooooo friends!! Yesterday's workshop was a great time, I have included a picture of the cards we completed but completely forgot to take a picture of the class.  If you ever wanted to learn how to play with paper just ask me and I'd be glad to help! I am pretty good with a Cricut and am learning to use my Silhouette if you ask me I would be more than happy to try and answer any questions you may have! Here's to a wonderful week!

Last Call...

Hello friends! Cards are done and ready for class! Talk about cutting it close, I just finished up this cute Happy Birthday card with the new Close to my Heart Birthday Sparkles stamp (B1537) found on page 37 of our Annual Inspirations Idea book!
